The INIU Wireless Charger Has Earned A Permanent Spot On My Nightstand (And It Costs Less Than $20)

I like to keep my nightstands as clutter-free as possible, but we all know how quickly things can pile up. A lamp, a TBR stack, skincare essentials, a contact lens case, glasses, a water bottle — everything takes up space. Add a nest of wires to the mix, and you’ve created a Minesweeper board of potential disasters just waiting for something to get knocked over. That’s why I find wireless chargers so handy.

Both fortunately and unfortunately, there are thousands of wireless charging options available in 2026. But not all models are created equal, and naturally, you want to feel confident that you’re making a purchase you can trust, rather than dealing with the hassle of a return and starting your search all over again.

As someone who deep-dives into reviews for a living and has tried my fair share of products, I consider myself somewhat of an expert. I’ve tested luxury options that cost hundreds of dollars, as well as plenty of budget-friendly alternatives. One I keep coming back to, and the one my partner has kept on his side of the bed for years, is the INIU Wireless Charger.

My thoughts on the INIU Wireless Charger

Now, I don’t mind using a cord. In fact, I’ve sung the praises of my Beats phone cords in our newsletter. But one place where I take issue with them is my nightstand, which, as I mentioned, is basically a sea of things waiting to be knocked over.

The INIU Wireless Charger has come to my rescue. It’s simple and practical, made to keep cord-based messes to a minimum. I love that you can see your phone screen during charging, and the angled design makes it easy to read through messages or stream shows while your battery juices up. It works its magic quickly, though I often leave my phone on it overnight or throughout the workday (it’s great for workstations, too!).

I also appreciate how portable this charger is. When my old phone stopped accepting a charge through its port, I relied on this device for months. I even took it travelling because it fit easily into my suitcase and was less bulky than the other options in my collection.

Of course, most wireless chargers aren’t completely wireless unless you’re using a portable model. The INIU has a USB-C port, so you can easily run the included cord from the back of the device to a wall adapter or an adjacent USB-C port. One downside is that it doesn’t come with a wall adapter. Luckily, as someone who owns a fair amount of tech, I have a few to spare, and you probably do, too.

While most people appreciate its simple aesthetic, I do have to mention that this is a design built for practicality rather than style. If you’re looking for something a little more design-forward, I’d suggest checking out Courant or Native Union.

To wrap things up, I’m a huge fan. I love this charger so much that I also picked up a portable model from the same brand, which has since travelled with me to Spain, Belize, and beyond. It’s equally affordable and holds an impressive charge. I highly recommend that one, too.

Is the INIU Wireless Charger worth the hype?

If you’re looking for an affordable wireless charger that keeps your phone upright while it powers up, the INIU Wireless Charger is a great option. It’s easy to use and charges phones quickly, making it a convenient addition to your desk or nightstand. If you prefer a more stylish design or use a thicker phone case, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, though, it’s a solid choice at an impressive price point, and you can often find it on sale.

Why you might want to keep on looking…

  • May not work with thicker phone cases
