I love sleeping, I love my bed, and I love a night in. For those reasons, I take my bedroom setup seriously, and there are a handful of investment pieces I own that are absolutely worth the price tag. They’re certainly not cheap, but in these cases, you really do get what you pay for.
From tech that’s transformed my wind-down and wake-up routines to bedding that keeps me comfortable year-round, these are the bedroom essentials I genuinely can’t live without.
Hatch | Restore 3

If your alarm is your worst enemy, the Hatch Restore 3 might be the best investment you can make for your bedroom. It’s completely changed my relationship with waking up, and I start my mornings feeling far less stressed and frazzled (my Oura Ring stress score backs that up).
Instead of jolting you awake with aggressive beeping, it simulates a sunrise by gradually brightening while playing gentle nature sounds or white noise to support your natural circadian rhythm. At night, the sunset feature helps you wind down with customizable lighting and soothing sounds. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the rainstorm setting. All settings are adjustable via the companion app.
Loftie | Loftie Lamp

The Loftie Lamp is a newer addition to my bedroom, but it’s quickly become something I never want to be without. It features three preset modes — Day, Reading, and Night — along with two fully customizable modes that you can tailor to your needs. You can also adjust the brightness to create the perfect ambience. Its stylish, minimalist design doesn’t take up much space on my nightstand, leaving plenty of room for my books, lotions, and other bedside essentials.
Like the Hatch Restore, everything can be adjusted through the companion app for easy customization, though you can also use the buttons on the lamp if you’d rather skip using your phone. Features include sunrise wake-ups, bedtime reminders, sunset dimming, custom colours, and more.
Silk & Snow | Egyptian Cotton Bed Sheets

I’ll admit it — I’ve become a bit of a sheet snob, and Silk & Snow is my go-to brand. While I’ve long been a fan of its percale sheets, I picked up the Egyptian Cotton set a few months ago, and they’ve been a total game changer.
Made sustainably in small batches in Portugal from 100% certified long-staple Egyptian cotton, they’re incredibly soft, breathable, and have a luxurious sateen finish that pairs beautifully with other bedding textures. If you love crisp, cool sheets, I’d still recommend the percale set. But if you’re after that ultra-soft, lived-in feel, these are the best you can get.
Dyson | Tower Fan

If you’re a hot sleeper, a good fan is essential, especially during the summer months. I swear by my Dyson Tower Fan. It’s lasted through years of use, operates quietly, and has a bladeless design, so I never have to worry about my dogs — or myself — accidentally bumping into it.
With 10 airflow settings, it’s easy to find the perfect level of cooling. Personally, I prefer a gentler breeze when I’m falling asleep rather than having it on full blast, but it’s impressively quiet even at its highest setting. The included remote control also means I don’t have to get out of bed to adjust the settings.
