My experience testing the Our Place Always Pan 2.0

The Always Pan 2.0 stands out with its eye-catching design and versatility, doing the job of 10 kitchen staples. It can be used to fry, sauté, steam, and roast, and it functions as a baking dish, saucepan, and skillet. It even comes with a spatula and has a built-in spoon rest.

Each unit includes a metal steamer basket (that also doubles as a colander) and a spatula designed to rest neatly on the rim.

This improved 2.0 version is now oven-safe up to 450°F and has better heat resistance than its predecessor. With a 25 cm diameter, tall sides offering a 2.6 L capacity, and a relatively light weight for its size and thickness, it’s practical and easy to handle. It’s made of 100% recycled aluminum, ensuring fast and even heating, with a non-stick alloy coating. In fact, aluminum conducts heat three times faster than stainless steel.

The exterior has a non-toxic ceramic finish. It’s also compatible with electric, gas, and induction stovetops.

The lid is cleverly designed to optimize steaming and can be used for bulkier dishes. It also features a small side notch that allows steam to escape while cooking.

My takeaways after testing the Our Place Always Pan 2.0

From fried rice and eggs to steamed carrots and baked eggplant, I tried a variety of meals to test the Always Pan 2.0’s versatility. Here’s what I found:

  • The non-stick surface works really well: nothing stuck, and cleanup was effortless.
  • It handled high oven temperatures perfectly—my baked eggplant test was a success.
  • I really like the integrated steamer/colander basket; it fits directly into the pan with ease.
  • The wooden spatula is a nice extra. Not essential, but handy.
