This mattress completely changed how I sleep.
If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I love to sleep. I recently made it my mission to overhaul my bedroom and am adding all the bells and whistles I can to make falling and staying asleep easier.
My first purchase was new sheets, which I ordered from the Canadian brand Silk & Snow. Then, I moved on to upgrading my alarm clock, adding a Hatch Restore 3 to my nightstand. These are fantastic. But then I started to consider the foundations of my sleep, and the old, worn-in mattress I had had for the last 7+ years just wasn’t cutting it.
I set to work comparing mattresses online. The main thing I was looking for was softness. I’ve found that many models err on the firm side, and I didn’t want to have to purchase a topper to get that cloud-like feel. After surfing and scrolling for hours, I had narrowed down my list of contenders, and Endy’s Plush Hybrid Mattress was at the top of my list.
My Experience
It arrived at my door as most ready-to-ship mattresses do, in a box. Once I rolled it out, it took a few hours to fluff up, but once it did, I got to experience its plushness in full force, and let me tell you, this mattress is CUSHY. Padded with 400% more foam than other models, it’s more comfortable than any mattress I’ve slept on in the past (and that includes hotel mattresses), and the memory foam core gives it that sleeping-in-a-cloud feel. It allows me to really sink in and adapts to my movements as I toss and turn throughout the night. It also isolates movements, so when my partner gets up or my dog decides to join us, I’m not jolted awake. My old mattress was about 10 inches tall, and this one is 13 inches, so I had to get used to my bed being a bit higher. I have the Tofino Bed Frame from Silk & Snow, which already provides a slightly elevated platform, so this new mattress raised the whole setup by a few more inches. It took some getting used to, but I actually love having a taller, thicker mattress.

Designed with ergonomic lumbar zones and pressure point relief for the back, hips, and shoulders, this mattress offers firmer lower back support, which is a must-have for my partner (he is no stranger to back pain). And the breathable open-cell foam, bolstered by hundreds of coils for added airflow, ensures that I stay cool and comfortable from night ‘til morning. This is essential, as my partner runs hot, and in the sweltering heat of summer, the last thing I need is a mattress that holds onto his heat and transfers it over to my side of the bed. It’s also designed, manufactured, and shipped within Canada, so you’re supporting a local business with your purchase, too.

Since I have seen such an improvement in my sleep, I find it hard to point to any negatives. However, if you aren’t a fan of plush toppers or need a firm mattress to get quality sleep, I’d opt for one of the other hybrid mattresses in Endy’s collection or look elsewhere. It’s also not the cheapest option out there, ringing it at $1,495.00 (plus tax) for a Queen size. The Plush style is $200.00 more than the Firm and Medium-Firm models, which is worth taking into consideration if you’re on a tight budget.
