If there were ever a season to hit the road in Canada, it’s summer. And while you’re making your way from stop to stop, chances are you’ve got a few iconic food destinations on your itinerary. From legendary burger joints to beloved bagel shops, Canada’s roadside favourites have become just as memorable as the drive itself.

Roots knows that better than anyone. The Canadian brand has teamed up with Toronto-born multidisciplinary artist and illustrator Moya Garrison-Msingwana (@GANGBOX) to celebrate these beloved pit stops in a limited-edition capsule collection that perfectly blends food, fashion, and Canadian nostalgia.

A Roots x COWS tote, a Roots x Webers tee, and a Roots x St-Viateur cap.

The collection pays tribute to iconic destinations from coast to coast, including COWS in Prince Edward Island, Montreal’s La Banquise and St-Viateur Bagel, Ontario favourites The Big Apple and Webers Hamburgers, and Vancouver’s Duffin’s Donuts. Each piece features recognizable menu items, signage, and local touches, all reimagined in Garrison-Msingwana’s signature illustration style with a distinctly Roots twist.

Whether you’re looking for a classic tee, a cozy crewneck, a cap for beach days, or a tote for farmers’ market hauls, this collection has something you’ll be reaching for long after summer ends.
