When the temperature starts to dip, I get to work on what I like to call my hibernation wardrobe. This section of my closet is dedicated to all things cozy — think matching sets from Roots, sweatshirts from Aritzia, and the most important recent addition: Crocs Classic Cozzzy Slippers.

Designed just like the classic Crocs clogs, complete with the signature back strap, these fluffy, cloud-like slippers are a must-have for anyone who craves comfort, loves Crocs, and doesn’t want to spend over $100 on at-home footwear.

Let’s get into the details.

My review of the Crocs Classic Cozzzy Slipper

I am a slipper snob, but I really don’t like spending a small fortune on shoes that never see the light of day. That’s why I was so happy to find this pair from Crocs that rings in under $70. Yes, they’re still pricier than some Amazon dupes of fan favourites, but for the comfort and style, I think they’re well worth the investment — especially if you spend a good amount of time wearing slippers.

The footbed is extremely plush, adding comfort and bounce, and just like actual Crocs clogs, the strap can be worn two ways, allowing you to choose your style. I like that you can wear them with socks when it’s chilly, but still get enough airflow from the open back to wear them through the warmer months, too.

Since they’re soft all over, they’re also extremely easy to pack if you’re bringing them along in a suitcase or weekend bag. You don’t have to worry about them losing their shape or getting squished.

The drawbacks of the Crocs Classic Cozzzy Slipper

There are three potential drawbacks to the Crocs Cozzzy Slippers. Firstly, the open back won’t be a win for those who like slippers that wrap around the entire foot. Yes, the strap keeps them from flying off, but it won’t keep your ankles warm. Secondly, they do not have a tread. A tread is an important feature for those who like to run outside in their slippers now and again, and while the embossed rubber logos give you some grip, they’re not built to handle the great outdoors. And lastly, if you have a pet, they will collect stray hairs.

My final thoughts on the Crocs Classic Cozzzy Slipper

If you’re on the hunt for an affordable, stylish, and comfortable pair of slippers to see you through the fall/winter season, these are definitely worth ordering. They give you that soft, walking-on-a-cloud feeling, and they don’t break the bank. They’re also perfect for lovers of the original design.
