Passionate about media in all its forms, Valérie saw her career begin by reporting the V (formerly TQS) competition “Become a columnist for Caféine”, which propelled her in front of the cameras. She joined the RDS team in 2006 and quickly distinguished herself as a sports columnist. Valérie had the opportunity to work on the coverage of the Canadiens' pre-games, the CrossFit Games, the Canada Games, the Vancouver and London Olympic Games as well as several other major sporting events. A native of the South Shore of Montreal, she loves to move through physical activity and training has always been part of her daily life. Wanting to help people take care of their health, she shared her wellness tips through the En Forme section of RDS.ca. She pays particular attention to balance and the importance of maintaining one's mental health. A mother of two, she is always looking for out-of-the-ordinary activities and travel destinations not to be missed. Even though her career took a tangent towards the world of media, this bachelor's degree in fashion marketing from UQAM has always had an interest in the latest fashion and beauty trends, new gadgets on the market and deals not to be missed. Through her collaborations, she wishes to share her advice, her discoveries and her favourite things.
